I have spent the week very busy, but still sort of trying to soak in what I witnessed over the weekend...If you are anywhere and you have the ability to witness this woman at work or to be a part of her sessions, DO IT!!!! She stated that she had never done one of these for cancer patients or caregivers, but she touched these people...she touched them with her heart in ways that only those that were there to witness could believe. I cannot describe it, but it was real. She taught me so much about the gift of giving! She showed me that the dirtiest and messiest of things can be the most healing! Burning something and really allowing yourself to let it float away with the smoke can be so freeing, so beautiful. Encasing something in wax and seeing it take its own form, its own life...that is BEAUTY! This woman is beautiful inside and out and her art is just that...Beautiful! I hope that if nothing else was taken away from these sessions by those that attended, they at least walked away knowing that whatever they see, whatever they do, whatever they dream of is BEAUTIFUL! Every single breath is beautiful. Thank you for reminding me Penny and all of those that attended or assisted in this event in any way...THANK YOU
